“There is no doubt that peace has eluded Abavo following the kingship tussle seeking the removal of the monarch, His Royal Majesty, King Uche Irenuma II, for the rightful owner of the throne since 2012.
“Everyone seems to be living in the pretense that all is well for the safety of their lives even as the government in power equally seems to have abandoned the people all for selfish political gain.
“After ten years of continued kingship tussle, King Irenuma who had remained on the throne has no heart of forgiveness that our sons who fought gallantly for his removal to save the community over strange happenings which his reign has brought upon the people are being killed. Many of our youths who ran away to save their lives out of the community in the heat of the kingship tussle and had returned home, have always faced death through assassination”.
Continuing, the source further lamented that the insecurity in Abavo has compelled many sons and daughters of the kingdom to remain in exile, lamenting that the Odi family is not left out of the trouble which Odi Ephraim, the son of their brother and uncle, Mr. Augustine Odi fought doggedly for the removal of King Irenuma.
