2023 Presidential election: Court sent two PDP leaders to prison for N142m Bribery fraud

Judge Hassan Dikko sentenced Gamawa and Gadiya on March 2 and ruled on two charges brought against the defendants by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This was revealed in a statement on Saturday by INEC’s Head of Publicity and Communications, Wilson Uwujaren.

The defendants were first charged on June 4, 2018, and then charged again on October 16, 2018,  for allegedly receiving more than 142 million yen to influence the outcome of the election. President in 2015 in Bauchi State.
