“Jandor Has Learnt His Lessons In PDP, We’ll Welcome Him If He Returns” – APC

The Lagos State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it will accept the return of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in last week’s gubernatorial election, Abdul-Azeez. Olajide Adediran alias Jandor, if he wants to come back.
Recall that Jandor left the APC to join the PDP in January 2022 and finished third in the state gubernatorial election won against the outgoing governor, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Sanwo-Olu received 762,134 votes, while his closest opponent, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labor Party, received 312,329. Jandor has 62,449 votes.

Addressing DAILY INDEPENDENT, Hon. Seye Oladejo, the APC’s publicity secretary in Lagos, said the party warned Jandor not to carry out a failed mission because the people of Lagos would appreciate Governor Sanwo-Olu by their vote, but he I ignored the ‘warning’.

“Of course, we will welcome him back with open hands. We told him then to reconsider his move and return to the fold but he ignored the warning. Now that he has learnt his lesson in PDP, we will still open our doors to him if he finds his way back”.

” For us in Lagos APC, it is the more, the merrier. Our doors are opened to anyone who wants to join our great party and our performing Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in consolidating on his ongoing projects and significantly advance the journey towards the Greater Lagos initiative”.
