A total of 154,225 patients have recovered from COVID-19 since its outbreak in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which confirmed the development, said 1,661 people who recovered from the disease, were discharged between April 4 and April 10.
The NCDC said that the 154,225 recoveries from COVID-19 was about 94.1 per cent of the known cases.
The public health agency said that there were 7,599 active cases spread across the country.
It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), activated at Level Three, had continued to coordinate the national response activities in the country.
Nigeria has also tested 1,803,177 people since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was announced on Feb. 27, 2020.
